Upon arrival in Lima, you will be receipted and transfer to the selected hotel. Overnight in Lima.
Breakfast in the hotel. At appropiate time your guide will pick you up from your hotel for the city tour in LIma. This private tour begins with a drive to the Park of love in Miraflores, the modern downtown with a view of the pacific Ocean. The tour then continues to the modern residential suburb of San Isidro, followed by a drive to the Colonial area and to the Main Square where you will see the Government Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace and the City Hall. The tour ends with a visit to the XVII Century Church and cloister of San Francisco, a world cultural heritage. Overnight in Lima.
Breakfast in the hotel. At the appropriate time, private transfer. Bus ride to Ica. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel in a private transport. You will over flight for approximately one hour the Nazca Lines in a airplane with high wing for best visibility. Waiting lounge with video information about the Nazca Lines and experienced tour guide. Overnight in Ica.
Breakfast in the hotel. You will visit downtown Ica and other places around, then The Regional Museum where you could see great quantity of archeological remains as potteries, textiles, mummies, among others. Later, you will stop at Luren's Church, where you will be able to see a black Christ called Luren. Then you will visit a Traditional or Industrial Winery, to have an explanation about how to make Pisco and Wine and to see the facilities that are used during the elaboration of them. At last you'll be able to taste all the variety of Wine and Pure Pisco made with the different kinds of grapes. Finally, The Huacachina Lagoon will be visited, there you will see a beautiful landscape that will never be forgotten. It is surrounded by sand dunes, palms and Huarango trees and beautiful houses. You will have an excursion in dune-buggies, specially designed and driven by expert pilots, to a sandy desert surrounded by dunes from 3 to 100 meters. These vehicles will allow you to visit inaccessible places for others vehicles, offering you comfort and safety through original trips with a dose of emotion and adventure. Here you will decide your route: through a plain part to enjoy a landscape of beautiful dunes or a circuit plenty of adventure and emotion to up and down some dunes. Overnight in Ica.
Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning, forty-five minutes private transfer to Paracas. You'll leave from the private pier of the Paracas Hotel to the Ballestas Islands, during our boat trip of two hours, the Paracas Bay, San Martín Port and the "Candelabro" will be seen by you. The "Candelabro" is a geoglyhps located on the north-west of the Peninsula of Paracas, the boat will stop in front of that figure for some minutes to take pictures. Subsequently, the boat will continue on the trip to the Islands, place where we'll see great colonies of seabirds such as: Inca terns, pelicans, Peruvian boobies, Humboldt penguins, turkey vultures, and sea mammals like sea lions. After the boat trip we'll return to the pier. At appropriate time, private transfer to the bus station. Bus ride to Lima Lima Upon arrival and private transfer to the selected Hotel. Overnight in Lima.
Breakfast in the hotel. At the appropriate time, private transfer. Upon your arrival to Cusco, you'll be meet and transfer in a private car to your hotel.Free time available to rest and acclimatize to altitude. Explore the most magical city, capital of the Inca empire (15th century) on a tour including the Main Square, the Cathedral, Santo Domingo Monastery -the legendary Korikancha Temple- and the old town with its very narrow streets. Drive out of the city to visit the archaeological Inca remains of Tambomachay, Kenko, Puca Pucara and the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman, overlooking Cusco. Briefing in the lobby of the hotel about all details of the inca trail. Overnight in Cusco.
Breakfast in the hotel. Very early in the morning the guide will pick you up from the hotel in Cusco to transfer you by bus to the town of Piscacucho, where the Inca Trail begins. After approximately three hours of walking you will stop for lunch. Then, you will continue walking heading for the first camp in Wayllabamba; you will visit the archaeological complex of Llactapata on route. Dinner and overnight in the camp.
Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast, the hardest part of the trail begins, with a steep ascent, followed by 3 hours walking until reaching the first step, Warmihuañusca, up to 4.200 m.a.s.l. approximately. You will not only enjoy incredible panoramic views from here but you will also have the satisfaction to have reached the top. After lunch in Vizcachayoc you will descend towards Pacaymayo (3500 m.a.s.l.) for dinner and camp.
You will walk approximately 45 minutes up to reach the second pass at 3850 meters above sea level, and will visit Runcuracay along the way. You will also visit the Sayacmarca archeological group and then go on to the Phuyupatamarca ruins. After lunch we head to Wiñaywayna (Always young) where you will spend the last night. Dinner and camp. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
After breakfast, you will start walking for one hour by the forest until the Inti Punku (Door of the Sun), known like the front door to Machu Picchu, from where you will be able to have an impressive panoramic view of the Inca citadel. Upon arrival to Machu Picchu, you will have a guided tour of the ruins and monuments, such as the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries. After enjoying the remains, you will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu town where you will have a buffet lunch and free time to enjoy the town. Overnight in Aguas Calientes. Meals included : Breakfast and Buffet Lunch.
Breakfast in the hotel. Second guided entrance to the Machu Picchu ruins to complete your visit also including a buffet lunch. For hiking enthusiasts, we recommend to going up the Huayna Picchu peak overlooking the site is suggested. In the afternoon return to Cusco and transfer to your selected hotel. Overnight in Cusco.
Breakfast in the hotel. Departure at 6 am. with destination to the High pass of Malaga (3 hour drive aprox.), there, the guide will give you a briefing as well as the complete necessary equipment for the descent by bike, you will finish and have Lunch in Ollantaytambo and return to Cusco at 5 pm. aprox. Overnight in Cusco.
Breakfast in the hotel. At proper time you will leave for Urubamba river on the Sacred Valley of the Incas( North of Cusco), where the guide will give a introductory chat on safety and equipment for the trip running the Urubamba. You will raft for around 2 ½ hours in rapids class II, III, IV+ and V, depending on which route you select. You could be on Huambutio class II, Ollantaytambo Class III, Quiquijana Class III and Chuquicahuana Class III, IV and V for this last. After lunch you will return back to Cusco, arriving at around 17:00. Overnight in Cusco.
Breakfast in the hotel. At proper time you will go in a vehicle from Cusco up to the rock wall Chacán, located behind Sacsayhuaman, some ten minutes from central Cusco. You will walk to the wall itself, where the guide will explain and demonstrate the equipment and safety techniques. You will practice rappelling down the wall, and an ascent of 25m. Then you will Rappel a 40m wall. Return. Overnight in Cusco. Meals included : Breakfast.
Breakfast in the hotel. You will leave Cusco early in the morning in a specialized overland vehicle. Approximately mid-morning you will visit the interesting Pre- Inca tombs of Ninamarca, commonly known as “Chullpas”. You will continue to Paucartambo, a picturesque Spanish colonial town, and then to the Acjanacu pass, which marks the beginning of the Cultural Zone of Manu Biosphere Reserve, a short stop and get ready to start biking down a big drop from 4,445m.a.s.l. to 1,600m.a.s.l. for approximately 4 hours. Here, a thick cloak of clouds provides perpetual humidity and makes an ideal habitat for epiphytic plants such as bromeliads. This varied and fascinating world is home of the Cock of the Rock, Spectacled Bear, Orchids, Tree Ferns (one of the oldest living plants), mosses and lichens. This cloud forest exists between 2000 and 3500 meters above sea level, and at least 50% of the plant species found here are endemic to this region. Overnight in open air lodge “San Pedro”.
Early in the morning you will be comfortably installed on an observation platform called “Lek” to see the Cock-of-the-Rock, the Peruvian’s national bird. In this excursion you will see an exhibition of a ritual mating dance. After breakfast you will continue the trip by bus to the Port of Atalaya, where you will board a covered outboard motor boat and head down the Alto Madre de Dios River for approximately 30 minutes toward the private reserve of “Erika Lodge” where you will spend the next two nights. Short walk around the lodge. Overnight at Ericka Reserve Lodge.
Immediately after breakfast you will start a hike near the riverbanks, during this expedition the guide will explains the high diversity of wildlife found around, like insects, medicinal plants, trees, reptiles, mammals, etc. In the afternoon you will start a short ride by boat to visit a small lake near to the Alto Madre de Dios River, here you are going to have the chance to see the Hoatzin, a primitive bird, white caimans, many species of birds, insects, etc. Later at night, you will have a short walk. Overnight at Ericka Reserve Lodge.
This day you will get up very early to board our boat, and after five minutes, you will arrive to a Parrot Lick “Collpa”, which is a wall of clay in the riverbanks, where many species of parrots such as the blue headed parrot, white-eyed parakeet, feed for mineral and salt supplements to their diet of seeds and fruits. After this you will continue by boat to the Atalaya Port where the bus will take you out of Manu, arriving Cusco late in the afternoon. Overnight in Cusco.
Breakfast in the hotel. Private transfer to the airport, assistance on departure time. Upon arrival and transfer to the hotel in Lima.
